Seating Tips

Please know that there is no bad seat in the house! Founder, Eben C. Henson, designed our multi-tiered, 400-seat amphitheater with an eye toward the stage being visible from every row, every seat. Also, our stage is equipped with microphones, and there are multi-level speakers to ensure everyone can hear the show—from wherever they are!

Pioneer Playhouse offers stadium style seating.  Multiple stairs are involved, except in rows that are specifically marked as follows:

Handicapped Row N and O: These rows have ramps leading directly to them.

VIP Row M: Accessible via a ramp for those with mobility issues.  These sections are perfect for senior groups from churches, retirement homes and family outings.

Please always feel free to call and chat with our friendly Box Office staff at 859-236-2747 to answer questions about seating.

Patrons with mobility issues must choose Accessible Seating.  Pioneer Playhouse is a unique, historic facility.  Pioneer Playhouse is not liable for accidents, injury, or loss of any kind. Patrons with mobility issues must purchase show tickets in market accessible areas. Management reserves the right to change seating at its discretion.
