Dinner is announced by the ringing of the Old Danville Firehouse Bell, promptly at 7:00.
Starting with our 2026 season, shows will begin at 8:00pm EST
Any earlier, and we’d be battling the heat! We hope this helps our patrons!
Dinner will be served at 7:00pm, but only on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Stay tuned for local restaurant options/discounts for Tuesday and Wednesday nights!
Accessibility and accessible seating is available in all areas, including dining patio, amphitheater, restrooms, and exhibits in indoor theatre.
Please note, however, Pioneer Playhouse is a unique historic facility, built from reclaimed materials over the course of 77 years. Patrons enter the premises at their own risk. Pioneer Playhouse is not liable for accidents or injury or loss of any kind.
Patrons with mobility issues must purchase show tickets in marked accessible areas. Pioneer Playhouse reserves the right to change seating at the discretion of management.

Parmesan roast potatoes, cole slaw, and Kentucky Proud vegetable of the day.
Homemade fruit cobbler for dessert. Tea or lemonade included.
Meals are served in our shaded outdoor courtyard.
Vegetarian meals available upon pre-request. Dinner reservation must be made by 3:00 pm day of show.
Alcoholic beverages available at bar to those 21 years and older. Cash or credit card.

Stroll through our Antique Village (as seen on the History Channel’s American Pickers), browse locally made items in our gift shop, and check out our The Making of Raintree County exhibit (featured on TCM’s Hollywood in Our Hometown!)
And don’t forget to grab a scoop (or two!) of ice cream at our Old Time Palace of Sweets!
